Founder, Align
Jamie Brackenrich is the founder of Align Family Medicine and Align Neurology, locally owned healthcare organizations built around a simple belief: great healthcare starts with great providers, exceptional patient care, and a team that feels valued.
After nearly 20 years in healthcare, Jamie has experienced medicine from multiple perspectives, from bedside nursing to advanced practice and ultimately practice ownership. Throughout her career, she began to recognize that what was often missing from healthcare wasn't knowledge or resources, but something much simpler: good care, good providers, and an environment where the people providing that care are treated well.
That realization became the foundation for Align.
Jamie opened Align Neurology in Roanoke with the goal of creating a different kind of healthcare experience, one where patients feel heard, providers have the freedom to practice thoughtfully, and employees know they are valued. What began as a specialty neurology practice has since grown into the broader Align brand, expanding that philosophy into additional areas of healthcare and wellness.
A guiding principle in Jamie's life comes from 2 Corinthians 1:3–4, which speaks of God comforting us through our own troubles so that we may, in turn, comfort others through theirs. Jamie believes that some of the most difficult experiences in our lives can ultimately give us a greater capacity to serve others. That belief has shaped both the way she cares for patients and the kind of organization she wants Align to become.
As Align continues to grow, Jamie's philosophy remains remarkably simple: find exceptional people, take good care of them, and give them the environment they need to take exceptional care of others.

Yes! Align Family Medicine provides primary care for children ages 5 and older, as well as adults. Our goal is to make healthcare simple and convenient for the whole family, with trusted care in one place.

No! If you have seen Will within the past three years, you are considered an established patient—even if you saw him at his previous practice. We're excited to welcome both Will's existing patients and new patients to Align Family Medicine.

Yes! Align Family Medicine offers convenient in-house lab draws, so you can complete many of your labs during your visit without making an additional trip.
